Hosting a quiz

  1. Click Create a Quiz on the home page, give it a title, and write your questions — each needs 4 answer options and a correct one selected. You can adjust the time limit per question (10 seconds by default).
  2. Optionally click Save for Later to keep it as a reusable template — it'll show up under Your Quizzes on the home page, where you can edit or delete it any time.
  3. Click Create Room to start a live session. You'll get a room code and a QR code — share either one with players so they can join.
  4. Players can only join while the room is in the lobby. Once everyone's in, click Start Quiz and step through each question with the buttons on your screen — voting closes automatically when the timer runs out, or you can close it early.
  5. After each question you'll see the correct answer, how everyone voted, and the leaderboard, before moving on to the next question or ending the quiz.

Joining a quiz

  1. Scan the host's QR code, or go to the home page and enter the room code plus your name.
  2. Wait in the lobby — the screen updates automatically once the host starts the quiz.
  3. When voting opens, tap an answer before time runs out. You can change your mind and tap a different answer as many times as you like until voting closes.
  4. Once voting closes you'll see whether you were right and how many points you scored.
  5. Check the leaderboard between questions, and the final results at the end of the quiz.

Good to know

  • Room codes stop accepting new players as soon as the host starts the quiz.
  • Saved quizzes are just templates — editing one doesn't affect any room already created from it.
  • Nobody but you can edit or delete your saved quizzes — that's tied to your browser, not an account.
